As omnivores, Blue Lobsters eagerly consume various meaty and plant-based foods. They scavenge the aquarium substrate for leftover meats and decaying plant matter. Their diet should be supplemented with sinking pellets, flake food, and dried algae to ensure proper nutrition.
Males typically exhibit larger size, chelae, and narrower abdomens compared to females. They possess an extra set of enlarged and hardened swimmerets. Females have a broader abdomen, providing an ideal location to carry their brood.
