The red devil angelfish is the colour most people hope to see after they Google koi angelfish. Koi angelfish are mainly black and white with bright orange markings. Often they are depicted as nearly solid bright red thru the tricks of lighting and hormones. HOWEVER, the Red Devil angel variation does indeed have the bright red gene and displays a body covered with red markings.
