The Odessa Barb enjoy a well planted tank that contains plenty of rocks. Best kept in groups of 6 or more, they are friendly fish though they may occasionally nip at other fish with long fins that are slower than themselves. They thrive on a varied diet including flake food of a high quality along with small pellets as well as frozen and live food.
