The Bumblebee Platy, Xiphophorus maculatus, is a freshwater fish species (live-bearer) closely related to the green swordtail (X. helleri).
They make a great addition to a community tank to add a unique splash of black and light yellow, a fantastic way to introduce some colour into your tank. They can reach a maximum length of around 3.5 inches and enjoy a diet of frozen, live and prepared foods.
