Description
The Blue Acara are a popular choice as they accept range of water conditions and they are great community fish that mix well with fish of a similar size but can sometimes become territorial when time to breed. They require a tank with a sandy bottom with plenty of hiding places but be sure to protect plant roots by planting them in pots.
When it comes to feeding, the Blue Acara aren’t fussy and will eat flake food, Cichlid pellets as well most prepared and frozen foods.
