Description
The Albino Ruby Shark (Epalzeorhynchos frenatum) originate from the streams and rivers of Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.
The aquarium should be at least 4ft long because of the eventual adult size of this species, and should have a soft sand substrate. Hiding places such as rocky caves, bogwood and live plants will be appreciated.
As a primarily bottom-dwelling species, it mixes well with medium sized barbs, danios, rainbow fish and larger species of tetra, etc, that will occupy at a higher level in the tank.
