Description
Hyphessobrycon Metae, Purple Tetra, is endemic to the middle Río Orinoco watershed in Colombia and Venezuela.
Providing a sandy substrate plus some driftwood roots and branches, or a heavily-planted set-up would replicate its natural habitat well. The addition of dried leaf litter would further emphasise the natural feel providing additional cover for the fish.
