Striking small Loraciid with black and white stripes that give it its name. L46 has wavy lines. Extremely shy fish originating from the Rio Xingu basin in Brazil. The Hypancistrus zebra L46, or Zebra Pleco, steals the show in freshwater aquarium. Reaching a modest 3-4 inches, it prefers clean, well-oxygenated water with a hint of acidity and warmth.
